It's happened!
I’ve turned into my Mom.
Not only in her creativity, good looks, wit and charm…
I’ve had that all along...
but recently though I’ve noticed I do all the annoying things to my kids that she did to me as a kid…
For example, I hated it when my mom would come in my room singing all bright and chipper on the first day of school...
“school days, school days, good a golden rule days…”
Guess what I do compulsively now on the first day of school.
And the other day at a store I found myself talking to the store manager about a snooty clerk giving me attitude. Brett stopped breathing, he was so embarrassed.
Yep, I hated when my mom did that to!
In old pictures my mom is always photographed holding babies and
forcing their heads down on her shoulder.
Look what I just found...
And Mom, remember when you used to say to me;
”I wish that when you become a Mom; your kids will make messes in your house
and not clean them up”…
I actually said those exact words to River the other day.
Well, I hope you are happy Mom, and yes..your wish did come true.

I don't remember going to a UVSC dance. I am getting so bad about remembering things. Yeah it probably worked out better that he asked you. I do miss the good old days like Taco Bell! We had a lot of fun. You were so hilarious all the time. I know my kids take after their dad's looks. You do look a lot like your mom. I can't believe it has been so long since high school. We are just getting old that is scary!! Talk to you soon.
I just found your blog off of my sister in law's blog. how are you guys doing? I cant believe you have six kids now! I didnt even know you had another one. congrats! I cant believe how big everyone is getting! especially brett and lauren. Hope you guys are doing good.
